Lucie and I ready to celebrate my bday, we are off to the party!!!

Good News, Lucie got her cast off! However, her little leg is so small and lacking muscle, we have to go see a knee-vet specialist now! Fingers crossed she will be just fine ;)

Her soft cast gave her more freedom to move... and get sleepy!

Lucie had a big week last week... so moved to a soft cast and is hopefully going to be a healthy puppy soon!

Look at little sleepy! After an adventure on Union St., Lucie was so tired that she fell asleep in her water bowl...

Lucie is on to cast #3, bright and shinny yellow! Two weeks and counting.... Yippie, Yay, Yippie!!!

Lucie is on to cast #2 and again... not letting it slow her one bit! But I know that she is very excited to be a real puppy soon tho....

Here is a little picture of my new BFF this month... due to the crazy rain, mud and constant trips outside... I am soooooo lucky to have my little boots, thanks Kristin!

Luckily, both her cast and the crazy, wet winter storm in SF haven't slown Lucie down... We actually had her first cast change yesterday, and Dr Wade scolded us as Lucie is being too playful for a broken puppy....

Once Lucie made in home (SF), she had an unlucky accident and ended up fracturing her little and is now in a splint for 4 weeks! We spent almost an entire Saturday and the emergenyc vert (with Dr. Wade :-)) and she met another wounded puppy, with one eye named "Winks".

Lucie jumped right into the Karr/Crocker family with all 4 paws... she loved Mac, but I am not sure her felt the same. They played a little game of chase, until he decided that maybe he was afraid of her and hid on the stairs. Karson was not as in love with Lucie as the rest of us, and decided not to take any pictures with her. Lucie and Gav even got along very well... perhas because they are just the right size.

With all bad things, something good has to come...

With Miss Kasie's blessing, I decided to jump right into being a dog owner again and found my little Lucie! She is a spunky merely 7 week old Chocolate Lab.... see how cute she....

Ending 2007....

2007 proved to be a very tough year, and it ended in that fashion. Unfortunately, after 15 long loving years, little Miss Kasie passed away. Although I am very sad, I know that she had a happy life and will continue to live in my heart. I imagine that she is playing with Zini and ABK now- happier and healthier then ever!
