Lucie and I went to Tahoe on the 4th of July and boy did she have a blast... she loved Tahoe!!! She ran, she fetched, she swam and she made a new best friend, Sierra!

Lucie is Cast Free!!!

This picture is from last night (6/24), if look close, you can see how big and strong her leg is getting! She is doing so well and looking great. She is even flirting with the camera a little ;-)

Although Lu's cast is officially off (yay), I wanted to post some cute pictures she had in May. Above she had just gotten her soft cast, but was loving chewing on her old cast that feel off... that one had me at the vet a 2am on Wednesday night!!! Below is at the beach while G-Ma Jo was visiting for Mother's Day... that was right before she was super sassy and tried to take a swim in her cast.

We're Back!

Lucie and I have been away from the blog for a while and life has still been eventful! We went through a break-in (yes, compute & camera both gone with all our fun pictures). We got a new camera and computer (yay USAA). And then Lucie got her cast off for less then 10 hours before it re-broke again. The lowest picture here actually shows her little paw when it was broken :( Then she is sporting her cast from Gav's b-day and then showing off her new cast. All in all, she is still a great sport!

Although she is hurt, she can still "Say Hi"

Lucie is Down Again...

As many of you might have heard by now, Lucie is hurt again. She had an accident while she was playing on a walk with her walker and ended up breaking her little toes on her paw. Unfortunately, this break is pretty bad so Lucie is on complete house arrest... but alas the vet says she is a "bone making machine" and hopes to have her on the mend soon (well in about 6 weeks). Send Lucie your best wishes ever, as well as love and kisses... this little needs it!

Lucie at the Beach!

My favorite Lucie activity these days... the beach! She finally has all her shots and was able to go the Crissy Field to play and meet new friends. Here are a few pictures of her at the beach and a video with her beach pal, Tonka (she is the same age as Lucie, but Lucie was better behaved ;-) Enjoy!!!

Lucie has been busy Growing, Growing and Growing!

Here are a few new pictures of Miss Lucie... She is growing , getting smarter and SO well behaved!

Lucie is getting bigger...

And bigger! She is now without cast and loving it! She is doing so well and her leg is getting stronger each day. She is also doing extremely well with her training and tricks, she actually graduates this coming Saturday! Last, Lucie started Puppy Day Care and is busy not only playing all day long, but making lots of new friends!

Good News, Lucie got her cast off! However, her little leg is so small and lacking muscle, we have to go see a knee-vet specialist now! Fingers crossed she will be just fine ;)

Her soft cast gave her more freedom to move... and get sleepy!

Lucie had a big week last week... so moved to a soft cast and is hopefully going to be a healthy puppy soon!
